PEDIATRICS

Both pediatric providers and family medicine providers are qualified to take care of children. So how do you decide which type is right for you?

A family medicine provider is trained to care for pediatric patients, administer well-child visits and vaccinations and provide care for illnesses, injuries, and other disorders. A pediatric provider may make sense if your child has special needs or needs a pediatric specialist.

For many families, being seen in a family medicine clinic makes sense. Not only is it convenient, but the family medicine clinician can get a picture of the overall health of the family. At Gagon Family Medicine, we have a team of five nurse practitioners and two physicians available seven days a week to care for your entire family. Both Dr. Gagon and Dr. Valdez are trained to care for your newborn infant after birth at the hospital.  Our comprehensive pediatric services include but are not limited to:

  • Walk-in Urgent Care access 7 days per week (illnesses, injuries, etc.)
  • Well-child exams
  • Immunizations including Vaccine for Children (VFC)
  • Circumcision
  • Sports Physicals
  • Scout Physicals
  • Pre-Mission Physicals
  • Pediatric Mental Health

As your family medicine clinic, you will never outgrow us.
