Attention Patients: We Now Offer Telehealth Online Virtual Health Visits

In order to schedule a telehealth visit, you must be able to access your patient portal account through the Healow app. Once you can access your portal account through the Healow app, call the office to schedule an appointment. It’s that simple! You will then be sent an email or text confirmation with a link to your virtual appointment. Telehealth FAQ’s

Video calls to assess and treat our patients without them needing to come into the office for a visit. We can do most of what we normally do in the office over a video call.

You will talk to your provider over a video using either your phone, a table device such as an iPad, or a computer with a web camera.

Yes, telehealth visits have a copay, just like a normal office visit. You can expect to pay for a telehealth visit as you would for any visit that brings you to our office.

Please make sure you are logged on and have started your TeleVisit before your scheduled appointment time. The system will not let you start the TeleVisit after your scheduled appointment time. If this happens, please call us to reschedule. Depending on other appointments, we’ll try to reschedule you as close to your original appointment time as possible.

You can log in up to 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. The earlier the better to give us time to help you if you experience problems logging on.

Unfortunately, no. We realize that many other clinics are offering Telehealth for same day treatment of non-life-threatening emergencies. In some cases, Telehealth can be a great option. However, in many cases we will need to run lab tests or complete a physical exam in order to accurately diagnose and provide treatment. It’s difficult to know in advance whether we will need labs, etc. For this reason, we’ve opted to see all non-life-threatening emergency visits in person.
